The Waterloo Park playground is getting an upgrade!
The upgrade aims to create an inclusive, engaging and accessible space for children of all abilities. The project will involve replacing the current equipment, surfaces, seating and signage.
Some items will remain, for example, an area of sand that will house the new multi-play equipment, the recently installed playboat and of course the splashpad that is a special feature of the park.
The consultation will be open from Wednesday 7 February 2024 until Wednesday 28 February 2024
The playground currently features swings, slides, rockers, climbing frames, a sandpit and a splashpad that operates in the summer months. The park is well-loved by children of all ages and is suitable for ages 2 to 12+ years old.
