We've secured £422,091 to improve Woodrow Pilling Park. The funding will improve play, fitness and nature in the park, and create better links to Lion Wood.
This money comes from the Greater Norwich Growth Board. It is made up of contributions from developers to support local communities, and it can only be spent on this project.
We have early designs for the improvements, and we want your views before they are finalised. Some parts of the plan are already set, but many are still open to change, and this is your chance to shape them.
What your views can shape
The nature and biodiversity improvements we make, including new wildflower meadows and tree avenues
The type of outdoor gym equipment, and where the gym goes
Play equipment for toddlers, juniors and teenagers
We are also improving paths, signage and the route to Lion Wood, and resurfacing the pump track. These parts of the plan are already set, and you can leave any comments you have about them in the survey.
How to take part
The consultation is open for three weeks, from 20 July to 9 August 2026.
You can take part online below, or come and talk to us in person at the café in Pilling Park on Friday 24 July, between 10am and 2pm. Drop in any time, no need to book. You can see the plans, meet the team and ask questions.
After the consultation, we will publish what we heard and the updated plan on this page, so you can see how your feedback made a difference.
This project is funded by the Greater Norwich Growth Board through the Infrastructure Investment Fund.
