The Norwich Health and Wellbeing Partnership: Building a Healthier City Together
We bring together colleagues from county and city council, health services, local voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, and other partners to make a positive impact on people’s health and wellbeing in Norwich. Our goal? To make Norwich a place where everyone has the chance to live a happy and healthy life.
Here's how we're working together to achieve that:
Promoting healthy communities: We're not just focused on treating illness but preventing it altogether. We work with local groups to make healthy choices easier for everyone
Tackling health inequalities: Not everyone has the same opportunities to be healthy. We're working to address factors like housing, education and employment that can impact your health and wellbeing
Building better services: We use resources collectively and consult with local people to define what health and wellbeing outcomes matter most to them and their community. We collaborate with the NHS and local government to understand local health inequalities and address the social determinants of health. Learn more: Not sure what we mean by the social determinants of health and why they are so important? Watch this video to find out more!
How to get involved?
