Enfield Road Playground Upgrade
The playground at Enfield Road is getting an upgrade!
The parks team will be replacing the equipment to make sure the playground is a safe, fun and accessible space for everyone to enjoy. The project will involve replacing the current equipment and flooring. The upgrade aims to create an inclusive, engaging and accessible space for children of all abilities.
We’ve invited three suppliers to share their design ideas.
Your feedback will help us choose the best design and create a playground that meets the needs and preferences of our community. We will share the feedback with the designers and make changes to the layout, equipment and accessibility.

A huge thank you to the 204 residents who responded to our consultation, including 44 young people aged 2-12. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us create a fantastic new playground for our community.
The winning design
We're delighted to reveal that Option 3 has been chosen as the final design for the playground! This exciting design, created by local contractor Premier Playgrounds, will provide a safe, fun, and accessible space for children of all abilities.
Start and completion dates
Subject to weather conditions, Premier Playgrounds are scheduled to commence work on the site on Monday, February 3rd. The refurbishment is expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete, meaning the brand new playground will be ready for playtime by mid-March!
