Corporate Plan 2024 - 2029
Consultation has concluded
Welcome to the corporate plan consultation and thanks for visiting our site
Here you can find out how to contribute to the development of our corporate plan for 2024-29 - a document which will set out our vision, aims and priorities for the council and wider aspirations for our amazing city.
This year we are going out to the whole city to ask for their views. This includes our residents, elected councillors, council colleagues, businesses and partner organisations to make sure we develop a plan that focuses on practical outcomes for our residents and the city over the next five years.
We will use the feedback we get to create our new five-year plan, which be in place from April (2024).
This work will build on our shared ambitions for Norwich as part of the 2040 City Vision project which acknowledges the whole-city effort required if we’re to achieve our aspirations.
As a council, one of our most important responsibilities is to listen to and support our communities by delivering the services they need.
But don't just take our word for how much we care about what we do day-in, day-out.
Take a look at our video and hear directly from some of our amazing people and a couple of our key city partners.
“This is our opportunity to listen and respond to the changing needs of our residents.”
"Developing a new corporate plan isn't just about how the council delivers services. It’s also about the important and privileged role we have as leaders of the city to influence all we can to help us tackle some of the biggest challenges we’ve seen for many years."
“We are unashamedly ambitious for the council and our unique and amazing city."
“We want to really understand what matters to colleagues, residents and businesses across the city."
“I want our residents, and all those who give us their feedback, to really feel like they’ve been part of creating this plan”
“This work will help us set a course to become the type of organisation we need to be in the future a modern council in a historic city, and one which thrives on providing excellent services for residents and the city.”
