We're excited to be developing a 10-year strategy to enhance Norwich's parks and green spaces. Norwich has 101 beautiful parks, gardens and green spaces across the city. We also have 2 cemeteries, 18 allotments along with 81 playgrounds and several outdoor sports areas for football, tennis, cricket and bowls. These spaces are managed by the city council’s parks and open spaces team and colleagues in Norwich Fringe Project and Norwich City Services Ltd, with incredible contributions from our many friends’ groups and volunteers.
Shaping the future of Norwich's green spaces
Our vision is to create vibrant parks and green spaces that better serve people and wildlife. We want to see more people using our parks for recreation, sport and leisure and get active to improve their physical and mental health. This strategy outlines what the council and our partners will do to make it happen.
We want to hear from you to ensure this strategy reflects the needs and aspirations of our community and many stakeholders.
