Thank you for your comment. The current intention is for any new lighting associated with the playground and Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) to be operated on a timer system rather than being available throughout the night. While the detailed design is still being developed, the aim is to ensure that the lighting supports community use of the facility while minimising disruption to nearby residents and local wildlife. It is anticipated that any lighting would switch off during the evening, with a likely cut-off time in the region of 8pm to 9pm, although this will be confirmed as part of the final design and operational arrangements. The lights would not be required during the summer months when there are longer daylight hours. We will continue to consider residents' feedback on this matter as the project progresses.
