What's next?

The survey responses raised a number of issues and opportunities for Heigham Park. Based on your suggestions, the team will be looking at improving the park as a whole, including the wider areas and the buildings within the park. More updates to follow!

Following the consultation, plans to create a dog-free recreational area south of the tennis courts will move forward. The pathway next to the unused pavilion will be removed and upgraded, making the area more accessible. Low level, self-closing gates and two picnic tables have been delivered and will be installed during the pathway construction.

In addition, based on the responses received, the current pond will be enhanced instead of creating an additional pond. The work will include expanding the pond and increasing its depth in order to attract more inhabitants. This will most likely happen over the winter months.
