Your chance to have a voice on biodiversity net gain: how it should be applied to the Town and Country Planning Act.

Responses will shape legislation, processes and guidance. This is to ensure mandatory biodiversity net gain delivers positive outcomes for nature, improves the process for developers, and creates better places for local communities.

The City Council is currently compiling a response to the Government’s biodiversity net gain consultation on behalf of the council.

However, there’s also an option to complete the consultation as an individual, should you wish. You'll find an option to complete the survey online or download a PDF. Just follow the link above to have your say.

Deadline for responses is 5 April 2022
